Welcome to the official Judo Futagawa Policies and Disclaimer page. By registering for our activities, you agree to the terms described below. These policies are designed to ensure transparency, safety, and an enjoyable experience for all our members.
1. Behavior and Respect Policy.
Judo Futagawa's Commitment:
Judo Futagawa is committed to maintaining a respectful, safe, and inclusive environment for all its members and staff.
Expectations for Members:
- Respect other participants, instructors, and the dojo’s equipment.
- Behave in a respectful, courteous, and cooperative manner at all times.
- Avoid any behavior that is violent, discriminatory, disrespectful, or likely to disrupt the harmony of Judo Futagawa, including ideological or political conflicts.
- Judo is taught with an approach focused on athletic development, martial arts, and educational values. Members are strictly prohibited from using the techniques they have learned—whether on our premises or elsewhere—for aggressive or violent purposes.
Possible penalties for non-compliance:
- Warnings: For behavior deemed inappropriate or disrespectful.
- Suspension: Temporary exclusion from Judo Futagawa classes or activities.
- Termination: Permanent cancellation of membership, with no refund, in the event of serious or repeated misconduct.
2. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal information collected during registration (e.g., name, contact information, medical information) is used solely to manage the activities of Judo Futagawa.
This information is protected and will not be shared with third parties without prior consent, except in the event of a medical emergency or a legal obligation.
3. Policy on Children and Minors
Supervision Before, During, and After Classes:
Parents or guardians are responsible for ensuring that their child is dropped off on time for the start of class and picked up immediately after class ends.
Judo Futagawa assumes no responsibility for supervising children before or after the specific duration of their class, or outside our premises. Since the restrooms are located outside the facility, we recommend that you use them before or after class.
4. Special Needs Clause
Our classes are designed for participants who are able to integrate into a group setting and follow general instructions. Any special circumstances must be discussed prior to registration to determine whether participation is feasible without disrupting the smooth running of the classes.
Judo Futagawa reserves the right to refuse or restrict enrollment in the following cases:
- The participant’s needs exceed our ability to provide a safe and appropriate environment;
- Participation interferes with the operation of the classes or the experience of other members;
- The participant poses a risk to themselves or others.
In the event of a refusal or restriction of registration, parents, members, or guardians agree to respect Judo Futagawa’s decision and undertake not to pursue legal action or to damage the organization’s image or reputation.
